Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius.
Holy moly…thank goodness for tonight’s LAST QUARTER MOON in Sagittarius.
This morning on the way to work I stopped by the store for some things and came across the Newsweek special edition on SPIRITUAL LIVING (it caught my eye for the second time this week)…so naturally I bought it…
Anyways…that set me on a feeling trip. All day today I’ve been feeling the need to find, live, and be spiritual. I’ll admit…I’ve been guilty of going through the motions full force without stopping. But the older I get, the more I discover, and my constant desire to be a freeflowing unbridled woman…I’ve found that there is more out there…you just have to look.
I stumbled upon this really cool interview via Claire Baker that got me thinking…
Nature.
Women.
Divine Feminine.
Wild.
Free.
Unbridled.
Natural.
I haven’t watched the whole thing yet…so I don’t know if the whole thing is good! But for the most part of what I saw I resonated with… It even got me to make a trip to the public dock to watch the sunset with my youngest daughter… The photo above was from today’s sunset on the Tivoli River…
ANYWAYS…on to the moooon!
I wasn’t surprised at my behavior to venture out to the river to see the sunset…for crying out loud, the last quarter moon is in Sagittarius! You may be feeling the same things tonight… You may be feeling a spiritual pull to get out in nature… To return back to your divine feminine and your divine nature… You may feel the need to connect back with your wild self…back to the basics… Back to nature… Back to the elements. North Georgia // Day Two
I started the day with a solo morning stroll through Helen, Georgia. Chatted up with the Chattahoochee River…. And then took a day trip to Athens, Georgia for some Terrapin Beer.

Anna Ruby Falls // Where the York Creek and Curtis Creek fall to form the Smith Creek…which then drains into the Chattahoochee River.
Icicles in a Cove Forest
North Georgia is so pretty. Above are photographs from our trip to the Chattahoochee National Forest where we took a short hike to see the Anna Ruby Falls. Breathtaking for sure. Surprisingly it wasn’t as cold as I anticipated, given the fact that there were some melting icicles and some snow still left on the ground.
That forest was quite enchanting. They called it a Cove Forest // for its tall trees on the mountain side and its rich soil. Because the light only hits the ground for a short period of time during the day the earth stays moist creating a great habitat for a variety of plants (like moss and ferns) and animals. Not to mention the creeks that run through it and the underground water that surfaces. It was truly I site to see. I’d imagine that in the spring and summer time it would be even prettier and greener! Those falls were bigger than I expected! It definitely did not disappoint.

We came to Helen, Georgia last minute for our ten year anniversary… The town is cute…but the mountains and land around it is my favorite! Especially the creeks and rivers! Our hotel sits on the Chattahoochee River which is most magical to me! We have a balcony that looks out to the river…which is why I wanted to stay here. Anyways…we have more exploring to do!!! Will post some more from today in my next post!

Full Moon in Virgo. Giveaway Extension!

On to the FULL MOON in VIRGO.
This full moon is a big one! This is a time to think about your wants versus your needs. You may feel a strong a-ha moment come along as you work through life…finally realizing that what you need may be entirely different from what you want. Virgo is always analyzing things.. So with the FULL MOON in Virgo things may suddenly wake you up and even shake you as you start to realize the path you are on. It may be about personal growth.. It may be about letting go. Maybe you need to sit with your pain and let it crack your heart wide open, only to find exactly what you need shining through.
MAKE ROOM. Especially for personal growth.
GET GROUNDED. Plant your bare feet into the wet sand and let the waves of the ocean feel into you. Feel the grass between your toes and the dirt on the soles of your feet.
RELEASE. Let go of what you don’t need and make room for what you do need.
For me…I FINALLY made it to the ocean as my mind, body, and soul intended and craved. I made a trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida this weekend to see a dear friend from high school. Although, the visit was short…I still felt happy to get my feet wet for a moment and got to spend time with a friend. The picture above was from this past weekend.

FIRST QUARTER MOON IN GEMINI.
See the TWIN lights?… Yes light, light…SPOT light seems to be the topic of today! With the moon in Gemini you may be feeling a sense of an INTENSE need to EXPRESS yourself! Talking really…talking seems to be THE thing to do today. Mind you…be considerate to STOP and listen for a moment. If you feel like you have a lot to share…SHARE IT! But also LISTEN! Find balance in your exchanges.
Also…take the time to think about what your new moon intention was for this past new moon. Have you honored your new moon intention? Have you forgot about it? What can you do to make that new moon intention FEEL real…be real…BE!

Aquarius New Moon Intention Setting.
Aquarius New Moon Intention Setting Mood.
Tonight the moon is in Aquarius. The Water Carrier. I posted this image of a rain cloud I took today on the way home…Appropriate.
Today you may feel like you aren’t really in the mood for getting too emotional. In fact, you may be feeling the need for a nice and deep intellectual conversation. Or maybe even snuggling down to read a book. Today may just be about the brain…logic. Maybe you have recently been emotional…but today, take that break from emotions. Let the rain fall like nature intended and just decide to think clearly. Let reality and logic show you things. Things you may have been afraid to open your eyes to. Today use your brain…and give your heart a rest.
Meditating seems like a good way to just be. Even reading a really good book. For now, just let things be…set emotions aside…and make an intention for yourself that is going to open your life to the infinite possibilities. Because they are infinite.
