New Moon in Gemini.

Everyone should have a Gemini in their life. I have a strong affection towards this sign…considering it shares the same ruling planet Mercury (the communication planet) as my Sun Sign Virgo. Something about the intellectual side of the Gemini is stimulating…both Gemini and Virgo are just that…intellectual. In fact they are the only two signs in the Zodical Wheel that share the same ruling planet…all other signs don’t share a planet. 

To add, Gemini’s have a very charismatic and charming quality to them. They are the friend of all friends and they are always there for you if you need them. 

They are always thirsting for knowledge and may have a hard time sitting still. They like adventure and a change of scenery quite frequently. You might even have a hard time keeping up with a Gemini. Gemini’s also have the gift of gab and can be very talkative…Some may even say scatterbrained as they always seem to have multiple projects going at one time. 

TO THE MOON…

Tonight and for the next few days you may feel like you have a lot to say. You and everyone around you might be seeking stimulating conversations. Thanks Gemini. Take care with your words and make a conscious effort to LISTEN as well. It’s easy getting carried away with words…just remember that a conversation has two people (or more) so take care to LISTEN as well. What is that saying again?

Read that quote…and take care with how you listen. Be mindful in your listening. Sometimes just listening is enough…no reply needed. 

Tonight is a good night to set an intention. Or start something new. Tonight is a new beginning. 

For me…I want to radiate with love, grace, and adventure. I want to write more and let my stories come to life. I want to be a friend of all friends. I want to be a confidant and sounding board. I want to be mindful in all my actions.

The Ogeechee River.

I have to admit…I’m not all together as I’d hope. But I see change. I feel flow. I am flow. This life we are given..what does it mean? I am on a quest. To find my inner truth…the things that hold me together. I’m certain that the older I get, the more I realize things in a wiser way. The more I see…the more I understand… the more I question… the more I learn. Humanity. Philosophy. Spirituality. What does it all mean? What do I mean? Tonight the moon is in its last quarter in Pisces…I’m feeling the emotional pull to question what it is I want out of this life. What do I want? I’m flowing. Do I go with the current…do I push against it? Will I find my way to the ocean?

New Moon Intention….

Change. 

This golden winged dragonfly decided to show up today. On a new moon. In my yard. There is so much that needs to be said that has been left unsaid. 

Change.

I danced with it for a while…and then it flew away. What was it trying to tell me? What is it that I need to hear?

Change.

I suppose I’m a reckless big hearted woman…deaf to her own cry…seeking what is seeking me…yet lost in translation. 

Change. 

Will I ever uncover what is covering me?

Full Moon in Libra. If there is no way, create one.

Full moon in Libra…

Tonight is a great time to start thinking about making a “life list.” 

With the full moon in Libra there is an energy that screams sociability. So go on…talk it up! Bounce your ideas off of others…talk to yourself…make a life list and post it to the world. Or just journal it for yourself. 

There may also be an energy around, from the lunar eclipse, that might put your relationships to a test. Tonight would be a good time to evaluate your relationships…maybe it’s time to talk it up and shift to a higher level of connection…or maybe you’ve seen it coming and knew deep down that splitting would actually benefit you more. Whatever situation you’re in…listen to your intuition. You know what’s best. Choose your words carefully…and don’t say something you may regret later, especially if you are angry. Let that anger hop out the window.

AND seriously…tonight start thinking about making a life list. It’s similar to a bucket list, but a lot less morbid. A life list is ACTIVE and intended for you to start living your life the way YOU WANT TO LIVE. I can’t say it enough…if you haven’t realized it yet, YOU have the power to do what you want to do. You are responsible for your life. So live it. Make a list of things you want in your life.. Write down how you want to live…What you want to do… What intentions you have.. And then….START doing them. 

It’s not enough just to send out good vibes and energy and expect it to magically happen. Vibes and energy are just the beginning (and also vital)..,you then have to ACTIVELY persue and make that change. It takes mind and action to make a difference. 

So write up your life list and get to living..

Pisces New Moon…

This new moon has been crazy for me…I feel like the Universe, God, Mother Earth, and Lady Moon are really up to something here! I had planned on taking an exam later this year…but recently started talking with my co-workers about the possibility of taking it sooner. Last night I decided to just check to see if I still could…and sure enough I still had time to sign up for this spring. AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE…the cut off date to sign up was TODAY! Of all days. On a New Moon. With a Solar Eclipse. Do you have chills yet? Because I did. Well I bit the bullet and applied to take the exam and sent off all my documents in the mail today! HOT MAIL to be exact! 🙂 

So for my new moon intention:

I trust that I have the confidence and knowledge I need to prepare for and pass the exam. I believe and intend to COME AS I AM…and be the best Kelly Suzanne there is. I want to tap into my wild woman. My naturalistic being. I want to indulge in the four elements…earth, water, air, and FIRE. I also want to make a morning ritual.

Here are three ideas for some new moon intentions.

  • Set an intention to start a morning ritual. It could be as simple as sitting for 5-10 minutes meditating before you go out into the world. It could be drinking a whole glass of water first thing when you wake up…maybe even add a little lemon. Or try some sun salutations and STRETCH while you greet the sun.
  • Set an intention to reawaken your inner wild woman…or man. Focus on the four elements. You are a human being that NEEDS all four elements to survive. You need the Earth for solid food…try eating more organic food. Try to stop eating processed foods and feel how great it is to eat fresh organic foods and taste all the vitamins and electrons that come from them. You need water…real fresh water. Try some spring water…it comes from natural springs. BREATHE. Breathe in fresh air. Get outside. And get out in the SUN…the sun provides you with vitamins you need! Also try to avoid using too much artificial lighting. Use natural lighting. Go to bed when the sun goes down and let your body produce melatonin…a natural cancer fighter.
  • COME AS YOU ARE. Find the you that you want to be. And just be you. Set an intention to be you…and to not care or bend to please anyone else. You have the power to live the life you want. If you want to do yoga…do it. If you like wearing makeup…wear it. If it makes you feel good…why not? How about writing a personal manifesto…and live up to it!

Here are some key words for the Pisces New Moon to think about:

Earth

Water

Air

Fire

New beginning 

Plant seeds 

Spring 

Endings with Beginnings

Pisces New Moon.

The Pisces New Moon…

is on its way…and this one is going to be a big one! This new moon is going to be backed by a solar eclipse. If you ever thought about setting intentions, now is a good time to do it! Especially since there will be a solar eclipse… 

Most of us won’t be able to see the solar eclipse in the USA, unless you live in Hawaii…but even then only a partial solar eclipse will be visible. Even Alaska might get to see a tiny bit of it. Those who live in Indonesia are in for a treat! Other regions of the world like South & East Asia, North & West Australia, the Idian and Pacific Oceans will also get to see at least part of the eclipse. 

So what does that mean? Well, a solar eclipse happens when the moon passes in-between the Earth and the Sun blocking the sunlight temporarily…a perfect alignment. It creates the appearance of a fiery ring around the moons shadow. Pretty intense. AND something you shouldn’t look at with your bare eyes…google how to look at a solar eclipse!

ON TO THE MOON….

In two days the PISCES NEW MOON will be here in full affect with a solar eclipse to amp it up! March 8th…so mark your calendar! And start prepping for what you’d like to manifest in your life… Prepare for setting an intention to live the life you want to live! 

PISCES is one of my favorite zodiacal signs…after all I am a PISCES rising! So you can imagine how giddy I am about this one! Also one of my sweet echo tech co-workers is a Pisces Sun Sign…so I have an affection for this sign! Hey Betsy!

Pisces brings dreams. If you have dreams…make them come true. Pisces go with the flow…Pisces ALSO have the ability to swim against the current to get what they need. Pisces is also the end of the zodiacal wheel…meaning this could be the end of a phase in your life… followed by rebirth. Maybe a spiritual rebirth. Emotional rebirth. Soul rebirth. No matter what kind of rebirth you need to go through…this new moon is a perfect time to set the intention to GROW or rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. Time to start a new beginning…with an EXTRA boost from that solar eclipse! FYI, if you also work with solar goals, this new moon  might be a great check in point or MOMENT to set a hard solar goal! 

So for the next couple days…think about what you have already intended in the past…THANK yourself for creating the life you want to live in…really THANK yourself…and slowly start to prepare your next new moon intention. You don’t have to set it yet…still feel into the one you set last new moon. And then come back here for some ideas and inspiration on setting your PISCES NEW MOON intention!

Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius.

Holy moly…thank goodness for tonight’s LAST QUARTER MOON in Sagittarius. 

This morning on the way to work I stopped by the store for some things and came across the Newsweek special edition on SPIRITUAL LIVING (it caught my eye for the second time this week)…so naturally I bought it… 

Anyways…that set me on a feeling trip. All day today I’ve been feeling the need to find, live, and be spiritual. I’ll admit…I’ve been guilty of going through the motions full force without stopping. But the older I get, the more I discover, and my constant desire to be a freeflowing unbridled woman…I’ve found that there is more out there…you just have to look.

I stumbled upon this really cool interview via Claire Baker that got me thinking… 

Nature.

Women.

Divine Feminine.

Wild.

Free.

Unbridled.

Natural.

I haven’t watched the whole thing yet…so I don’t know if the whole thing is good! But for the most part of what I saw I resonated with… It even got me to make a trip to the public dock to watch the sunset with my youngest daughter… The photo above was from today’s sunset on the Tivoli River…

ANYWAYS…on to the moooon!

I wasn’t surprised at my behavior to venture out to the river to see the sunset…for crying out loud, the last quarter moon is in Sagittarius! You may be feeling the same things tonight… You may be feeling a spiritual pull to get out in nature… To return back to your divine feminine and your divine nature… You may feel the need to connect back with your wild self…back to the basics… Back to nature… Back to the elements. Earth. Water. Air. Fire. Connect back to your natural self… Watch this interview…and let it inspire you!

On to the FULL MOON in VIRGO. 

This full moon is a big one! This is a time to think about your wants versus your needs. You may feel a strong a-ha moment come along as you work through life…finally realizing that what you need may be entirely different from what you want. Virgo is always analyzing things.. So with the FULL MOON in Virgo things may suddenly wake you up and even shake you as you start to realize the path you are on. It may be about personal growth.. It may be about letting go. Maybe you need to sit with your pain and let it crack your heart wide open, only to find exactly what you need shining through. 

MAKE ROOM. Especially for personal growth. 

GET GROUNDED. Plant your bare feet into the wet sand and let the waves of the ocean feel into you. Feel the grass between your toes and the dirt on the soles of your feet.

RELEASE. Let go of what you don’t need and make room for what you do need.

For me…I FINALLY made it to the ocean as my mind, body, and soul intended and craved. I made a trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida this weekend to see a dear friend from high school. Although, the visit was short…I still felt happy to get my feet wet for a moment and got to spend time with a friend. The picture above was from this past weekend.
