FIRST QUARTER MOON IN GEMINI.

See the TWIN lights?… Yes light, light…SPOT light seems to be the topic of today! With the moon in Gemini you may be feeling a sense of an INTENSE need to EXPRESS yourself! Talking really…talking seems to be THE thing to do today. Mind you…be considerate to STOP and listen for a moment. If you feel like you have a lot to share…SHARE IT! But also LISTEN! Find balance in your exchanges. 

Also…take the time to think about what your new moon intention was for this past new moon. Have you honored your new moon intention? Have you forgot about it? What can you do to make that new moon intention FEEL real…be real…BE!

Full Moon In Gemini.

Tonight the FULL MOON is in Gemini. Can you feel the frenzy? I can.

Gemini…the Twins…is all about communication. The Gemini has a tendency to go, go, go…and is always talking or listening…they can’t sit still. A Gemini can often become bored and a bit chaotic if their minds aren’t challenged…it’s all with good intent. They need to know. They need to see. They need to feel. They need to be heard. Sometimes they get ahead of themselves because their minds are going 100 miles per hour…they are already thinking about the next step. Sometimes they can appear to be listening but really they are on to the next thought and have already guessed what you are about to say. After all, for the Gemini, their curious minds are always running and their thirst for knowing something new is never tiring. They are quite charming, charismatic, and intellectual.

THE strategy to conquer the Gemini mind is to stop for a moment to breathe. You have to ground yourself every once and a while or you’ll go mad. Ground yourself. Find your center. Find your soul. When you feel the Gemini part of you getting out of control and your mind has turned chaotic…pause. Stop thinking. And ground yourself. Tap into the Gemini who is the teacher. Teach yourself to be calm. Teach yourself to just sit with yourself and with God the eternal formless force. Find that union.

So tonight…if you are feeling the frenzy….be still. Be still and let all those thoughts fade away. Become heavily meditated. YES meditated.  MEDITATE.

P.S. For my grounding I did two sessions of yoga at The Awakening Yoga center tonight…one was a vinyasa flow and the other was a flow & restore. I needed that. I needed it really bad. I felt clear headed and good after. I’ve seen a difference in my life since I’ve really gotten deep into yoga…although I am not completely healed just yet. There are things in my life that I don’t understand and have had a hard time letting go of. One day I will understand…and one day I’ll learn to let go. (That is a very hard thing to do.) Steven Forrest suggests (when talking about Gemini and their strategies in The Inner Sky) is to “Give the universe permission to not make any sense.” Easier said then done.

Last Quarter Moon in Gemini and Cancer.

The Last Quarter Moon phase is a time for reflection. When it entered into this phase last night it was in Gemini…but tonight it is in Cancer. 

Gemini can offer you the drive to know it all. The twins…the two talking heads. One to listen and one to talk. This type of archetype thrives on communication and storytelling. If you feel yourself getting too antsy to go, go, goooo and know it all…settle for a moment and take a breath. Knowledge is great…but learning to calm that “go, go, go, to know it all” will benefit you in the long run. Learn as much as you can…but really savor each morsel of information you acquire…and be mindful of what you let others know you know. Humbleness is something we can use within the next few days. Thank yourself for knowing what you do know…and then cultivate a cancerian nature.

Cancer…the cancerian…the crab. The one with a hard shell but a soft inside. A delicate…yet succulent being. Underneath it all…underneath the hard outer shell is a morsel of goodness. Tender and sweet…the cancerian holds the feelings of deliciousness and protects it with its shell. As the Gemini gathers all the information, the crab stores it under its shell…and when the shell becomes too small from growth…the crab finds a new shell to expand even more. Cultivate the cancerian nature to gather and protect your knowledge and feelings…because just like all great mysteries, once they are solved and uncovered, you find a delicious and succulent being inside. Be wise with who you let solve your mystery.
