New Years Day 2017.

 


Melbourne, Florida. They say that what you do on the first day of the year is what you’ll continue to do throughout the year. Today…I sat facing the ocean…eyes wide shut…heart wide open…wondering if I dodged a bullet or fell victim to my own kindness…something that I am having a hard time answering. The trouble with an open heart is that it breaks…and it breaks often. The good news is…it transforms you. The good news is…I’ll continue to have an open heart…and I won’t build walls…I’ll keep cracking open until all boundaries are shattered…and I will always be kind. I won’t live in the past…I’ll only live now. I’ll keep sitting by the ocean…meditating….healing…opening up and letting go. It’ll take time, the healing part, but I am determined to do so. In the meantime…I’m letting it all go to make room for my wild woman to rise…2017, are you ready for me?

Full Moon in Gemini.

I debated on whether or not I should post this self portrait…in a world cluttered with social media, selfies, and blogs the idea of being heard or seen can feel impossible…I even questioned why I even have a blog…what for? Why? Then there was this…

This was completely moving to me…read the whole thing…or watch the whole thing…you’ll be touched. 

So here I am in ALL my glory…offering up everything I have to be present in this world. To be alive…to be seen…to be heard.

For this Full Moon in Gemini I’m letting it all flood out and shine through me…I ask the question, “What is the point of doing anything if it’s not for the GRAND PLAN?” Everything is God and everything is for the grand plan…even washing the dishes is part of the grand plan…so give yourself enough worth AND let your glory shine…and be like the Gemini (a source of communication) AND SHOUT IT TO THE WORLD! Show up and let your glory be heard and seen..

New Moon

This past new Moon was especially heart warming for me…for the first time (of many to come) I got together with a group of my friends to tap into our inner goddesses and set intentions together. 

It is extremely crazy how the universe works and how by making movements, even the smallest, towards the things you want in life will bring you an abundance of love and goodness…it truly pays to make those movements…when I decided to work on myself and join yoga teacher training I wasn’t expecting what I found…

I joined up with a group of 21 other likeminded students who have all blown me away with how kindred in spirit they are to me…unexpectedly. Even when it comes to the moon, sun, and the universe…I found the they too are moon loving goddesses…and from that Daisy came up with the idea to meet every new Moon to draw goddess cards together to set an intention for the lunar month that goes along with what the card/goddess represents…

I drew Abundantia…and I’ve got to say…She came at just the right moment…I’m so open to giving and receiving abundance in my life…nothing is holding me back…

Yesterday I met up with my mentor and fellow mentees…see here:


I have been going through some personal awakenings and at this meeting I got the answers I needed in my current….some heavy words I needed to here from my mentor Kelley (in the middle). She reminded me that life is about now…and even though you have to work through HARD decisions and you don’t know what to do, but have to make them….you can’t screw it up…no matter what decision you make…YOU CAN’T SCREW IT UP…no matter what you decide, that is exactly where and what you were supposed to decide. Your life doesn’t end when you make decisions…you can’t screw it up…I CAN’T SCREW IT UP…it’s just not possible. So I’ll be sending out abundance and what I get in return will be EXACTLY what I need…no question.  

I’ve got this…I’m living the life I choose to live…I give abundance and I invite it in…

Last Quarter Moon in Virgo…

Look within. There is a fire inside of you. Kindle the shit out of it…and keep it burning….then thank the shit out of yourself…because you are worthy. At this last half moon…take care of that flame. Be like the Virgo, the healer, the keeper of the sacred flame…your sacred flame. Everyone has Virgo in them…channel that…and hold onto your sacred flame and watch it burn and radiate outwardly to the same tune as the sun and the moon…

and before you go to bed tonight, cup your hands in front on your mouth and breathe into them…do you feel that?!? Heat…proof that you have a sacred flame within you…

First Quarter Moon in Aquarius.


Setting the mood last night. Yoga by candlelight with doTerra’s Forgive blend in the air diffuser.


Last nights First Quarter Moon in Aquarius was nothing short of magical. Aquarius…the water-bearer. Fluid and limitless. Individualized and free. Aquarius reminds us that we hold the space that surrounds us. 

We have the freedom of creating a space that kindles our eternal flame within. It doesn’t have to be grand…a simple one lit candle will do. If your body is your temple, then your home is your garden…create your space. 

If you only have one bedroom…personalize it. If you have a traveling altar…bring it with you. If you have a home away from your home like a yoga center and want support…go there, they’ve created a space there to hold for you to melt in. 

Whatever you do…surround yourself with things that kindle your eternal flame…and if you are feeling grand…build your stately palace by candlelight.

P.S. Last nights yoga flow was inspired by the Rishi Twist seen above. In Sanskrit it is called the Bharadvaja or Bharadvajasana. Heart lifted… When you come out of the pose…slowly unfold like a water fountain with your head unfolding last.
