Last Quarter Moon in Gemini…

I’ve been thinking a lot about meditation here lately… I don’t do it enough… I make up excuses as to why I don’t have the time… or I fear I am not doing it right… or that my mind wanders to easily…  it’s all just excuses… 

but lately… I’ve been looking into transcendental meditation and really… it’s an effortless thing… our minds naturally gravitate towards things that give us joy and peace… yet, the most peaceful part of us is within us… connection to the soul.. connection to our energy… it’s not about controlling… rather than letting it be… 

I don’t know much about transcendental meditation, but I’d like to learn… 

GOAL for the Gemini Last Quarter Moon:

Spend 20 mins in the morning and 20 mins at night to meditate. Get the duality of Gemini… both sun and moon, morning and night… seeking knowledge within… finding that inner peace… finding the divine light shine bright…

PS. Last Quarter moons are also good for expressing gratitude… take the time to be thankful for the breath that you carry… and seek the knowledge and find your inner truth and peace…

PSS. It might be easier to meditate with a mantra… it can be anything… it can be a sound… or just imagine ocean waves coming and going… or heck… GO TO THE OCEAN… and sit there… or find some ocean audio…

About that FULL MOON in Pisces…

This one…is a bit ironic for me… Pisces, the Fishes, a water sign…. AND A BIG HUGE HURRICANE is headed this way… eek! Hopefully it’ll turn the other way and fade off. But I must say… I am a bit scared. Last hurricane we had a bunch of trees fall over (some still uprooted but leaning on other trees)…. and that was only a category 1… this one is much bigger and there still is no telling if it’ll make it to Coastal GA yet… 

BUT… I refuse to let fear run my life… Tonight I’ll be teaching a Full Moon Salutations Yoga class and tapping into my creative side. Pisces also happens to be my rising sign and I’ve been feeling a little disconnected with my creative nature… so it is about time I play around with creativity tonight… let go of fear and move along my path…

Pisces is a creative, wildly open, sign… and I feel like tonight I want to free myself of all things that try to keep me in a box… and let my soul be just as creative and wildly free as it should be…

New Moon Solar Eclipse Virgo/Leo.

New Moon in Virgo with a Solar Eclipse with a taste of Leo at the beginning.

This one is a BIG one. So many emotions. Yesterday was the big eclipse and unfortunately the clouds, here in Savannah, hid it from view. Nonetheless I stood outside like everyone else hoping to catch a small glimpse…but instead just got drizzled on. Still pretty cool to be outside while it was happening. Later on in the day there was a magical sunset…so that made up for it…

Here is to new beginnings… and big ones at that… being that Virgo is my sun sign I thought it was pretty cool that the eclipse happened in Virgo, although some may even say Leo. 

For me I’m going with Virgo… and making my new Moon intentions pure. The purify my life and body… at the end of last week I decided to give vegetarianism a go AGAIN with working myself to veganism. I’m still eating dairy and eggs until I can wean that off to… I tried once before and tried to go straight vegan cold turkey…. and that DID NOT work… ironic. My belly bloated uncomfortably…. and it was a bit shocked. So this time I’m going in more mindfully… with probiotics on board… making smaller changes to clean my gut… plant based diet I’m coming after yooooou! I’m also taking vitamins for my skin, hair, and nails… just honoring and taking care of the vessel I was given… I’m also building my stones and crystals collection with my youngest daughter Uma. So that’s fun! Just trying to live more mindfully!

But anyways:.. I’m in a van on the way to Vidalia to see patients… and I’m beginning to ramble… 

Thursday I’m headed to Florida with Uma for a much needed relaxation… going to spend quality time with her and my younger sister Meghan…

Time to take a nap…

Changing my Karma on the daily… Learning the laws of what Karma really is… Realizing that Karma is not punishment… Changing my Karma on the daily… Learning that Karma is changeable… Realizing that I don’t have to live in a Fearful Karmic cycle… Changing my Karma on the daily…

For those who feel like you have to suffer from the past… read this now… you DON’T. Change your thoughts… change your life… Don’t feed your past pain your energy… Don’t give it your energy or your thoughts… move on. Even when you don’t understand WHY… Change your Karma… Forgive. 

Forgive yourself and everyone and everything around you… Start right now…

Make a change in your daily routine… Pray. Meditate. And then pray and meditate some more. Release old habits… Make room for new ones… CHANGE YOUR KARMA. You can do that… 

Don’t look back… you aren’t going there…

Change your Karma… Find your Dharma…

Full Moon in Capricorn this Weekend.

I woke up Sunday morning at 5 am naturally to this crazy Capricorn Full Moon in Haleiwa, Hawaii. My first morning here.. like magic it happened. I am sort of speechless from this experience… 

Capricorn… the Sea-Goat… this water sign was meant to be in this moment… emotions and water works and a week full of joy… I’m exploring the island where I spent my teenage years… this, in a way, is HOME for me… my alma mater… the place where I grew up into a young lady… those years were the best years… the years that shaped me… 

I’m so glad I had this opportunity to come back.. to connect back.. and BE back.., in these moments…

Emotions run on high in Capricorn Full Moons… don’t be surprised if you find yourself crying… whether it be raw or just our joy….

Started the day off doing hot yoga at The Awakening Yoga Studio in Richmond Hill… then spent the day on Tybee Island for the First Quarter Moon in Libra…

Libra. The Scales. The balancing act it requires to be a mom…a wife…a sister…an aunt…a friend…a daughter…and an ECHO tech…all the while maintaining my own sanity TO BE true to myself is A LOT. I’m only one person and I have to find a way to balance all that….ha. I should actually win an award. I could easily be a hermit and stick to myself…but I chose to be present in everyone’s life that I encounter. Some days I get tired and grumpy…but given the fact that I’m always balancing the peace, or at least trying, I think I’m doing pretty good and if I get moody…it’s me, not you. I take on too much sometimes…but then I scale back. I get lazy…then crazy…I manage. It’s life…you balance.

If you didn’t know… at the end of April 2017 …the 28th to be exact… the Universe and stars made a shift as Aquarius entered the South Node and Leo entered the North node…

What does that mean…. well for the next year and a half… until November 15, 2018…  there are going to be some things that arise within you from past Karma…and it might not feel so pleasant..some things might SEEM painful…. (you can thank AQUARIUS for that)… THE GOOD NEWS IS… that this is part of HEALING…. THE GOOD NEWS IS…you have the POWER to transform your Karmic REACTION… for every action there is a reaction… and you can CHOOSE to live you life UNRESTRAINED from a Karmic lead path… you don’t have to let karma rule your life… because in reality… you have the power to control your Karma…

THE GOOD NEW IS… you have LEO in the North node to help you out when you get to a low point or a moment of unwanted negative feelings… Leo reminds us to show compassion and understanding… so really if you let your Karmic past dictate your life…you might be doing it wrong… you ACKNOWLEDGE these feelings and then CHOOSE the reaction that is best going to serve you…do not ever dwell on it… instead learn and move on sending out the energy you want to attract… the law of attraction… also for goodness sake… LEO is a big old kitty cat… just wanting to play!!! So you have to remind yourself to let’s loose and have fun…and then the things you thoughts were so horrible…seem to not matter anymore… after all, the past is the past…

PSS. On a personal level…the BALANCING act for me has gotten very challenging here lately…I’m always on the run or doing something…I’m not even sure I actually sleep…I realized this weekend that I might be TOO BUSY…all I wanted to do this weekend was relax and be with my best friend…I almost threw my phone in the ocean at one point…time to tone it down and find balance in my own life….I need to cut back on engagements and stop and smell the flowers and JUST BE…THANK YOU full moon for putting me in check…
