The Moon is waning…waning, waning, waning. 

I am sleeping…sleeping, sleeping, sleeping. 

I am dreaming…dreaming, dreaming, dreaming.

As the moon is waning...Sometimes you just got to join in and turn inward and rest with it. Rest your tired bones. Rest your tired eyes. Rest your tired soul. I didn’t intend on staying home from work today…but my youngest daughter got sick last night…and so here I am at home…resting with her…resting with the moon…resting with the flowers…resting, resting, resting. In these quiet moments… when you truly rest… friendly little dreams appear…feelings arise…and you get inspired. Sometimes just resting will bring answers to questions you’ve been asking for a long time. When the mind is quiet…things become clear. So rest with the moon….rest with the flowers…and rest often. 

For a bit of astrology: to go with your waning moon in Scorpio tonight…ask yourself….what would a Scorpio do if they were given only a limited time left on this Earth…in this vessel they were given? A Scorpio would tell you to sit and FEEL the answer…they would tell you to go by feeling…not logic. When you sit and feel what your intuition is telling you…you will know the answer.  That is why Scorpios are so passionate…they feel things and then live like there is no tomorrow…so sit, wane, rest, sleep, dream…and when you wake up…live your life with passion. 

For the next couple of days the moon will be waning.…on March 20th there will be a Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn AND the Spring Equinox. 

So rest up in the last bit of the winter days to prepare yourself for Spring! Because a lot of things are preparing for an awakening…you, the flowers of sleep, the Earth, your soul…

Full Moon Tonight in Virgo. March 12th, 2017.

Full Moon in Virgo…

Oh, how I love a Virgo Full Moon. This particular one was quite special for me…I got to spend last evening at a Full Moon gathering with a bunch of my Moon Goddess Sisters at the lovely Kim’s house…I wish we had taken a group photo…but we gathered together, ate food, drank cocktails and wine, made Yoni necklaces (ahem, yes, vagina pendants out of clay), did a burning ritually let go of things, and chanted and made music around the fire…I wish I took more pictures but I was so busy having fun…but here is a small collage…


Our chant was so beautiful…it was so filled with goodness and feminine divinity. I was blown away by how powerful the chant was and how significant it was to this particular Virgo Full Moon…one word…women. Here is the chant if you want to hear it! CLICK HERE FOR THE CHANT.

ON TO THE FULL MOON

Virgo, the virgin, the maiden, the mother, the sister, the daughter, the healer. Women. At this full moon there is soooo much feminine energy…

Here is to ALL the women in the world…the healers, the mothers, the daughters, the sisters…that power we harness is otherworldly…to say the least, we ARE the portal to life…we are the nurturers of all nurturers. Whether we birth a baby or not, our children are nurtured by us women…us women are nurtured by us women…there is a power here…that healing power that women possess …use it…be proud of it…and rise up as the Goddess you were born to be…

Daily reminder…

I go through many phases…some are harder than others…I’m up, I’m down…I ebb, I flow…sometimes I feel lost, sometimes I feel together…sometimes my heart breaks hard even after when I thought I was past it all…sometimes I don’t give a shit…sometimes I make no sense…sometimes I make perfect sense…

bottom line, I’m still me…I’m still a light on this Earth…

PSS. At this half moon remember that YOU deserve to be loved wholeheartedly… not halfheartedly.

New Moon in Pisces. 

Pisces is the last sign on the zodiacal wheel… I like to think of a new Moon in Pisces as EXTRA special. Together they represent the ending of a cycle with a NEW BEGINNING. This is an OPPORTUNITY…a gift to you. Maybe you have been stuck in a habit you want to stop or change…..now is the time to BREAK that habit and start fresh. Hard…but POSSIBLE. If anything…PLANT that seed to stop the habit you want to get rid of…and then water that desire everyday until you break open that seed for your flower to bloom. It just takes that first step.

First Quarter Moon in Taurus.

First Quarter Moon in Taurus.

So tonight is a half moon in Taurus. Although I didn’t get to make it to my new Moon Goddess meeting this month…I was able to draw my Goddess card tonight on the first Quarter Moon. 

There are a lot of things that are heavy on my heart right now…and I don’t feel the need to express my troubles…but I WILL SAY…this too shall pass. No mud, no lotus.

I’m quite happy to have drawn Bast. For the latter part of this month I’ve felt a disconnect with my inner feminine divine. I’ve slacked on my yoga practice and my laziness made excuses as to why I should just lay around instead. One of my “excuses” was that I don’t have time for myself. Although, true for the most part, I do have limited time to myself as I feel like all my spare time should be spent serving my family. I feel guilty when I take time for myself…and I KNOW I shouldn’t. I should designate time for me. I know I should. 

And so when I drew Bast…it was my own self saying TAKE THE TIME. Be a little independent and find some solitude. Okay okay…I will. Ahem: I say this as I type this message with my girls laying next to me asleep…even though I know I should have me time…I still want them right next to me…but while they sleep I suppose I can reflect on this first Quarter Moon…and maybe meditate a bit. Maybe even embrace me and my girls cat like demeanor…lazing around, calm and fluid. 

ON TO THE MOON: Taurus, the bull, may seem intimidating…but if you take away the stereo type of the ferocious beast…you’d find that a bull is a loving creature…an animal that is earthly. So for the next few days…it might serve best to embrace the naturalness of what we are…loving creatures on a glorious earth…tap into the roots of our earthly beings and reconnect to our feminine divine. And while we are at it…throw on a little cat eyes make up.
