I can’t tell you when it all happened.
No one event was the one that made it evident.
It was a combination of a lot of things.
Piled one on top of the other.
No, there wasn’t a single event that made things change.
It was a lot of little fires that I got tired of putting out.
And for what?
Why so many?
Was it to clear the brush?
Was it to keep me small?
Was it what I really came here to Earth to do?
I’ve got Ganesh in my pocketbook.
Is that why?
Why. This word I’m sick of.
I’m tired of looking for reasons.
I’m tired of trying to make it make sense.
I’m tired of asking why.
I’m in purgatory.
I’m about to start my cycle.
I’m ready to rest.

This too shall pass. If you are a woman in your late 30s, 40s, and early 50s… this message is for you. If you are struggling with life, depression, and existential dread you are NOT alone although it may feel that way at times.
The ups and downs. The perimenopause. The menopause. It’s like a raging war on your mind, body, and spirit. In ways it feels like a spiritual attack. And often, maybe we wonder if it’s just spiritual warfare. And maybe it is.
Because here’s the thing… you are wiser, stronger, and more powerful than you know and maybe you’re changing. You’ve accumulated years of experience. You’ve mastered many skills like discernment and can finally spot the bullshit. And sometimes when you see too much it becomes too painful to witness others struggle with something you’ve already been through. Or maybe you’re in the thick of it and are searching to make things better. Regardless of which stage you’re in… the path to change will be met with resistance. And that sucks.
I wish that is wasn’t. Not everyone will grow with you. No, not everyone will. And this is a message to those who have a woman in your life that is struggling in hers… give her grace, give her space when she requests it, let her find her way through the dark corridors she must go through to step into her new form as Crone.
